A Formula One Road Show is taking place in Jerusalem this week. Thursday afternoon, 4 – 6 pm, and Friday 11 am – 2 pm, Formula One cars will be racing through Jerusalem. I don’t know the exact route but I suppose it will be somewhere around the Old City. Not a real race but just a show, as our streets are not made for cars driving with such speed.
Today, tomorrow and on Wednesday, from 5 – 10 pm, the cars are being exhibited and everyone is invited to come.
Behind the Old Jerusalem Train Station. The entrance is from Derech Hebron, behind the Super Deal.
I don’t know yet but will provide further details tonight.
I bet that plenty of local Haredim are going to be around.
Jerusalem’s Mayor Nir Barkat is very proud presenting this particular event in Jerusalem. The first time ever, Formula One is coming to Israel. However, the question is whether the city can afford this big show costing 15 million Shekels.
