Thousands of people all over the world are using the “Je suis Charlie” slogan in order to express their sympathy with the latest French victims of Islamic terror. Using this and the other famous slogan “Je suis Juif” is not for me and I am not running wild about it on Twitter or elsewhere. Lets be honest: In another couple of weeks, the massacre will be history and people continue their daily routine. We forget until the next terror attack.
As long as Europe (and the rest of the world) doesn’t learn anything and continue downplaying the danger of Islam, nothing is going to change. Paris was only the beginning and we all know that. However, European leaders prefer ignoring facts and a German Minister rather met with the Muslim community these days instead of the Jewish community or other victims of Islamic terror. Whoever speaks out against radical Islam in Germany and other places in Europe is called a Nazi.
All over Jerusalem we see posters with the “Je suis” slogan. I took the photos as Paris Square last night and the Hebrew states: “Jerusalem is embracing the French people”.
Does this mean we are embracing all French people ? Including the anti – Semites and Israel hater ? In my opinion, the expression “French People” doesn’t really sound good.
