Moroccan Jewry celebrating MAIMUNA last night

Moroccan Jewry has a special custom called MAIMUNA. At the end of the seventh day of Pessach, as soon as the holiday is over, Maimuna is celebrated with good food and traditional Moroccan music. Israeli politicians, Sepharadim and Ashkenazim alike, love using this opportunity and start a public relation show. Leading politicians participate in the Maimuna celebrations and invite the media.
Last night and today, a lot of public Maimuna celebrations were canceled due to the bad weather conditions.
