Shabbat is over and now we have to prepare ourselves for a serious snowstorm. It is already pretty windy outside and I took all my plants on the balcony to a safe location. Otherwise everything may be flying away.
Tomorrow night is Tu be’Shevat (the New Year of the Trees) and it says that we can feel the spring in the air. Well, not this time, as snow is predicted for Jerusalem. 5 cm on Tuesday morning. At least until Thursday, it will freezing cold, wet and stormy weather. If there will be snow, buses won’t run, schools remain closed and people don’t go to work.
This is how it is in Israel. As soon as there is snow, nothing is moving anymore and people stay indoors.
