Chashmona’im Street / Corner Carlebach in Tel Aviv
Tomorrow is my last day of training and already this Thursday, we new “Jerusalem Post” employees are going to be in action. Then we are supposed to start our first English teaching lessons.
On the one hand, I am glad that our week of training is over. I don’t have to get up at 5.30am anymore in order to travel to Tel Aviv and be in the “classroom” at 9am. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the course because I have met quite a few interesting people.
What I am also going to miss is the relatively warm weather in Tel Aviv. The distance between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv is only 50 km but people coming from Tel Aviv and getting off the bus in Jerusalem get the impression that they have landed in Alaska. Compared to Tel Aviv, temperatures in Jerusalem always seem to be lower.
