Yom Hashoah: “Israel is commemorating six million Holocaust victims”

Tomorrow (Sunday) night at 8 pm, the annual official Holocaust Commemorations are starting in Israel. It is Yom Hashoah – Holocaust Remembrance Day. Jerusalem’s Holocaust Museum Yad Vashem will be broadcasting live at 8 pm tomorrow night (Israel Time). Those of you who may be interested can just go to this website:
ALL Israeli shops, cafes, restaurants and cinemas will be closed by 6 pm tomorrow. However, this doesn’t include Palestinian areas where everything is just as usual. Buses, trains and the Jerusalem tram don’t shut down but just work according to schedule.
On Monday morning everything will be back to normal. There will be a nationwide siren sound at 10 am where people usually stand still.
Yom Hashoah is always a sad depressive day. Anti – Semitism has never disappeared and until this day, many people hate Jews simply because they are Jews. It says that the first Anti – Semitism already existed in the days of Avraham. Because Avraham was different, people hated him. In those days, people believed in idols and it was the time of King Nimrod.
Until today many Gentiles don’t understand why Jews are different. Why they eat kosher food, why they have thousands of rules or why we have to eat Mazza on Pessach of fast on Yom Kippur. There are plenty of things non – Jews cannot accept. Especially when it comes to Christianity and why Jews don’t accept the false messiah J. 🙂 There are still Christian missionaries cruising around Israel telling Jews that, if they had accepted J., there would have been no Auschwitz.
