  1. I’ve been looking for Amshinov but no joy. Do you know if he goes to Meron? And are there also celebrations for the women, or is it a ‘men only’ thing? I know they go to Meron, but can they see the bonfires or do the rebbeim do a tisch for them? We have the Belzer in UK at the moment. There was a huge farbrengen in London motzei Shabbes/Lag b’omer.

You can have a look here on Youtube

Belz is also there but I haven’t come across Amshinov yet. A while ago, someone told me that the Rebbe was sick. I have no idea whether this was true.

Women can go to Meron but the big problem is the Mechitza. This is the reason why I haven’t made any effort to go up to Meron. Why should I go and no be able to see anything. Men and women are separated and even have separate entrances.

Maybe the women do their own celebration but I would want the “real stuff” like chassidic Tishes and everything. ๐Ÿ™‚

My biggest problem is that my neighbourhood is far away and it takes me a long time to walk to Mea Shearim on Shabbat. Back and forth would take me almost two hours. And this is only the walk.

Amshinov is located in Bayit Vagan, as far as I know. And this would take me far more than 2 hours. ๐Ÿ™‚
