Hebrew Letters / Rabbi Shlomo ben Yitzchak (Rashi)

On the RASHI – Script

B”H

Chabad published an interesting article on the RASHI – Script:

http://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/3715921/jewish/What-Is-Rashi-Script-and-Where-Did-It-Come-From.htm#utm_medium=email&utm_source=1_chabad.org_magazine_en&utm_campaign=en&utm_content=content

Not only the Rashi Talmud and Torah commentaries are printed in Rashi script but countless other Jewish religious books are printed with those letters. Especially kabbalistic works but also plenty of other books.

Learning out to read Rashi takes some time. Once you are used to the letters, it won’t be a problem anymore. After a while, I started reading Rashi script just like the regular Hebrew letters.
