Last night I went to listen to the Megillah at the Chabad Center located in Jerusalem’s neighbourhood of Rehavia. The reading at 8pm, however, was so crowded that half of the people had to stand outside. We were standing or sitting in front of the door which was not a problem at all. The problem was that people outside didn’t hear anything from the Megillah. Rabbi Goldberg should have set up a microphone.
Unfortunately, many people left and went somewhere else. I also left after a while, as we didn’t hear a word outside.
The Chabad Center turned out to be a rather tiny place where the crowds didn’t find enough space.
Where will megillah readings take place Friday morning in Rechavia?
Thank you.
