Chassidut Chabad / Messianism

Farbrengen with the Rebbe (1981)

B”H
There are so many “Redemption Days” in Chabad that it is almost impossible to follow. At least for someone like me who is not Chabad. 🙂
All those Yame’i Ge’ulah when one of the Rebbes was released from the Russian or Soviet prison. I think that 19 Kislev is another important day in Chabad, as Rebbe Shneur Zalman was released from jail.
This Shabbat is Gimmel Tammuz (3rd day in the Jewish month of Tammuz) and this is another extremely important day in Chabad: The Yahrzeit (the passing) of the seventh and last Lubavitcher Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson in June 1994. However, the Meshichistim of Chabad consider this day as the day the Rebbe became invisible. He never died and is still living in 770 / Crown Heights. When the time comes, he will reveal himself and we will be able to see him again.
Thus, this Shabbat, Chabad all over the world (Meshichistim and non – Meshichistim) are going to commemorate Gimmel Tammuz. It is customary to have a great Kiddush after the Synagogue service.
Here is a video to commemorate the Lubavitcher Rebbe:
